Water Tower

Far away from nothing we found this abandoned water tower. I bet it hasn’t been used in decades; to get to that particular spot I had to walk on overgrown grass, dodging trees branches. Once I got there I found out this place was the home of an abnormally big species of ants. I took the photo and ran away as I was being surrounded by the insects.

I found this old tricycle while wandering around the town of San Ildefonso, Galeana; a pintoresque and forgotten little town located in the middle of nothing and away from everything. How much I miss that place and its people.

This is a typical scene in Mexico: the used tyre floating on a river. This is one of the many, many reasons why more than 90% of our rivers are polluted. The water of this particular river ends up in a dam that provides water to a couple of major cities.

Taxi

Back in the mid 90s, someone decided that all taxis should be the same color to have more control over them. They said the color had to be green because green has ‘something’ with the ecology… thus the Ecological Taxis (or ecotaxis) were born.
